Interesting Trade Me Auctions

The following are a list of some of the most stupidest or funniest auctions I have found listed on the Trade Me website.
http://www.trademe.co.nz
Unfortunately this page has lost some it's entertainment value as once again Trade Me have decided to remove displaying of Questions and Answers on past auctions as well as not displaying withdrawn auctions. So thank you Trade Me for ruining what was a rather entertaining part of this website.

Interesting, Funny and Stupid Auctions:

The famous Paperclip (2005):

Other Trade Me users then copied this auction:
And if it wasn't paperclips it was other office stationery:

Auctions for overpriced U2 tickets: (December 2005)

When tickets for the March 2006 U2 Concert went on sale and then sold out many auctions for tickets appeared on Trade Me. There were many complaints about traders selling the tickets for way more than what they paid at the ticket box.

Others tried to sell other items and include free U2 tickets:
Some people made made fake bids of $1million with fake accounts while others made anti U2 ticket auctions:

There were also auctions that made fun of the whole ordeal such as a hand drawn ticket to watch U2 at home on DVD and some one tried to sell a cardboard box you could in outside the concert and listen to U2 in case you didn't get any tickets. Others just added the word U2 to their auctions to increase hits. Unfortunately these auctions can not be shown as they were removed by Trade Me.

Personalised Plates:

Some guy decided to sell a few personalised plates with JESUS2, JESUS0, GODLY and a few other christian themes. Nothing wrong with this except for the fact he was selling them for $500,000.
Some other guy in 2008 tried to sell a plate saying "I AM HOT" he even said it was the funniest plate ever.
I don't think he ever sold the plate.

Tana Umaga Auctions:

After Tana Umaga hit team mate Chris Mascoe with a handbag, at the Jolly Poacher in Christchurch, following the Super 14 final, the following auctions appeared on Trade Me

Ice Berg Auctions: (November 2006)

After Ice Bergs started appearing on the coast near Dunedin someone tried to sell one of the Ice Bergs.

Virgin Mary Auctions:

In October 2007 someone found a pebble that looked to have an image of the Virgin Mary on it. Unsurprisingly enough it ended up on Trade Me.
And of course everyone else had to have a go at making something similar.
